It certanly looks like The Grinch came in 2020 to steal the best moments of our lives, but reality is, that we can still enjoy the holidays and learn from The Grinch himself and make the best from what we have.
Black Panther in theaters Feb 16th, 2018
It is almost my son's 13 birthday and to celebrate we are going to Walt Disney World. So there is not going to be a birthday party however we still needed to have some cupcakes and to celebrate the release of Black Panther on theaters this Friday, we are enjoying some Black Panther cupcakes.
Come and be Our Guest. That is what we told out neighbors when we planed a small gathering to watch the original 1991 Beauty and The Beast Disney movie. We just wanted to get everyone in the mood to get their tickets and go see the new live action movie or to talk about it they had seen it already.
El Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the dead) is a Mexican holiday where families get together to pray and to remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey.
Although I am not Mexican, I have learned to love this tradition and love celebrating it with my son. This year we have decided to decorate the house with sugar skulls, make an altar with food and also wear a mask to celebrate.
We have decided that our Christmas tree needs a makeover. I used to have a beautiful Christmas tree. Then I had my son and dogs and some of my ornaments broke. We have been decorating our Christmas tree with toys and it is time to upgrade.
I will still have a kid friendly tree. However this time around we will be making ourselves some of the ornaments. Since the Peanuts movie just came out and we are super excited about going to Knott's Merry Farm, we decided to start with the Snoopy Ornaments. They are cute and very easy to make.
