Last week was my son's first day of classes at the local College. A super important reason to celebrate. You read that right, my 13 year old is taking classes at College. We asked him to pick a place to have dinner and celebrate and he chose Islands Restaurants.

At the Del Amo Fashion Center you can find pretty much anything you need for back to school shopping. With more than than 200 retailers, multiple full-service restaurants, a fitness center, and an AMC Theatres multiplex; it is one of the largest shopping malls in the United States.

A few years back I was addicted to diet soda. I had my first one with breakfast in the morning and had a few more during the day. I had headaches when I did not have one. I tried to quit but I really loved the carbonation and wanted the feeling of the bubbles going down my throat.

Summer is almost over but the hot temperatures are still here. I live in Southern California, when the weather is always nice (well, almost always). We are cooling off from the heat with delicious frozen yogurt from Yogurtland. They were nice enough to let us taste their new flavors so we can share with you.
