It has been a blessing in disguise. We had a leak and we were forced to remodel the house. And although we have been living in a big mess until we have the time to actually finish the work (and we are not done yet) I am happy that we now will not have carpet anymore. My son has seen this product on TV and he really wanted to try it out. So when we were offered the chance to review it I knew my ice cream lover boy was going to be really happy.
The Ice Cream Magic ice cream maker container is really cute. I looks like an ice cream cone. I have seen a lot of reviews saying that the product does not work, so I was afraid my son was going to be disappointed. He was not disappointed, he was able to make ice cream, but just a little bit. He still loved it and just to help the kids play on the kitchen and make their own snack is a good product. Now, if you are expecting this to be the tool to make ice cream to feed your family, do not buy it. But if you just want a little for your kids then it would do the job. I did changed the recipe a little bit. We used heavy cream instead of water to make sure my son was going to make ice cream. What I like is the container, because even if he does not want to shake it to make 4 tablespoons of ice cream, I can serve store bought ice cream on the cute cone. It is not expensive, and provides some fun for the kids. Available in Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry swirl caps, Ice Cream Magic is $9.99 each and at fine retailers everywhere. For ages 4 and up.
