On Saturday, May 6, Discover Los Angeles orchestrated one of the world’s largest human-powered welcome signs. Hundreds of Angelenos gathered to spell out “welcome” in four languages: Spanish, Chinese, English and Arabic. The eye-catching show of solidarity was seen from the air by visitors arriving on flights to LAX from across the globe.

 MuyLatinas Blogger Network wants to invite you to join us for 7 days for a challenge. On Friday August 1st, 2014 we will be starting a Smoothie a Day Challenge for seven days. The idea behind this challenge is that we want to motivate everyone to consume veggies and fruits every day. So #Muylatinas @muylatinas (@monicazyoung, @coolchillmom, @ahorradolares, @comiendoenla and @colombianaenca ) want to challenge you to drink at least one (1) smoothie every day for 7 days. And to make it more interesting for everyone we will have a prize at the end for one lucky winner. How to participate in the challenge Everyday post a picture of your smoothie to twitter, facebook or instagram using #MuyLatinas AND #SmoothiechallengeMLN We will share some recipes with you, but you can create your own smoothies and share the recipe with us and the other readers.
