Planing a family vacation, specially during the holidays is not easy. After a lot of research and help form Toulumne County, we put together an awesome trip during Thanksgiving and I have to share the itinerary with you, because if you are ever in the area, you want to get the most of your days there.

Some of the destinations and events mentioned on this post were complimentary or a media rate was extended. As usual all opinions, typos and grammatical errors are my own.
As a family that enjoys taking road trips, we are always looking for new places to travel and visit. Since I work full time and my son is now taking classes in college, we have to look for long weekends to visit places. For Thanksgiving break, we decided to travel to Tuolumne County, better known as the home for Yosemite National Park.
So many places to celebrate Halloween, some are scary and some are not so scary. Pirates Dinner Adventure is celebrating Halloween by changing up their show a little bit. For the month of October they had the Vampirates version. We were invited to see a media preview and we loved it.
Knott’s Spooky Farm takes place weekends, September 29 - October 28 and Halloween Day Roller coasters, pumpkins and trick or treat. It sounds great, right? Well, it is. Head over to Knotts Berry Farm with the family and enjoy all the festivities in the park. We were invited to the media preview and it was lots of fun.
Although we have pumpkins in Colombia we do not have a lot of pumpkin recipes and we do not eat it as much as here in the US. I like some foods with pumpkin but not all of them. The first time I tried pumpkin roll I felt in love with it and since then it is one of my favorite recipes to make during Fall season.
