I have to admit it, I am and addict. I am (hope I can say was soon) addicted to Soda. I used to drink several cans a day, then I dropped to one a day and then I was not even finishing one a day, but I was still drinking it.
In my mind, it was ok. It was diet and it was saving me some calories. I kept reading and hearing all these things about diet soda and I was in denial. It just fell so good down my throat. It has been 7 days straight without having a sip. I am not going to lie, the first days I had headaches and I was thinking about it and I had cravings for bread and sugar. But I have been strong. I have been having water infused with fruits, detox water (with apples and cinnamon) and sparkling water. I have been walking daily, so I am thirsty and I am drinking a lot of water. I have been eating watery fruits such as watermelon to help me with my cravings. It has been only 7 days but I am committed to continue with my goal. I am staying strong. Now, to get creative with my water intake! Disclosure: I received a free copy of the DVD to facilitate this review and attended the media release party. All opinions expressed are my own. We have been waiting for this movie to come out on DVD for such a long time. We missed it a the theaters and we have heard really cool things about it. And the rumors were true. The movie is fun and entertaining. We are now big fans of Foodimals and I can see my son asking for creative shapes and forms when I serve food. But I guess that is a great way to motivate kids to eat their veggies and fruits. So what else can I tell you about the movie? I laughed and laughed and I think it was silly but clever at the same time. My son liked it a lot. So it is a great addition to the DVD collection and a sure hit when we are on the road and I need to keep him busy. We also attended an event at Sony Studios for the release of the DVD. We met the Director and watched some cut scenes form the movie that you can see on the DVD. The kids also got to design their own Foodimals and learn to draw them. We also got to play with the new Foodimal Funimal App on the iphone and ipad. And I can see this app as another saver when we travel because my son was really into the games, specially the one where you create your shakes. After all the fun activities we got some yummy food. After a day full of fun activities we got home and can you guess what my son wanted to do? Oh, yes he wanted to watch the movie again!
