October is National RSV Awareness Month. RSV is also known as Syncytial Virus. RSV is a common, seasonal virus that typically occurs between November and March in the United States and is the leading cause of hospitalization for babies in their first year of life.
One of my favorite trips this year was the road trip to Utah and our visit to Zion National Park. I have seen it several times in the movies, but I cannot even describe how beautiful it is in person. El Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the dead) is a Mexican holiday where families get together to pray and to remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey.
Although I am not Mexican, I have learned to love this tradition and love celebrating it with my son. This year we have decided to decorate the house with sugar skulls, make an altar with food and also wear a mask to celebrate. |
