I am always looking for new nutritious foods that are easy to prepare and add variety to the family diet. Off course protein sources are very important in the family diet, as we are all trying to control our weight. So when we I was sent a couple of samples of Freekeh to review I was super impressed with the fact that this whole grain is a great source of protein and fiber.

It has been a hot summer. Temperatures are still high and we are almost entering Fall. Keeping hydrated is very important and since I gave up soda last year, it is hard to find cool drinks that can keep me refreshed. I drink lots of water, but once in a while you want to have a sip of something sweet and different. So when the nice people at Honest Tea send me some samples, I was very happy to try something new to drink and the best part they are organic!
Making changes to be healthy is not always easy. It take time to adapt to new lifestyle and also to change they way you have been doing things for a while. Finding organic, eco friendly products can be a challenge sometimes, so when the nice people at NatureZway sent me some product to review I was happy to be able to add some cool products to our cleaning routine.

In case you were not following trends on social media last week I have to tell you that ShiftCon was taking place in Los Angeles. Due to work reasons I was not able to attend all 3 days of the conference. I was lucky to be able to make it to the last day, however due to other commitments I had my 9 year old with me. So I have decided to let you see my review through the eyes of my son. Let's be real, kids are honest and I think that I can send a bigger message if I tell you about organic and chemical free products from the point of view of a child that is not bias and if I give you my opinion. So here they are, in no particular order my son top picks from the products he tried at ShiftCon Organic Pastures Raw milk He liked so much that I had the go to the store and buy some. He says it taste better than normal milk and he also liked the cheese.
