It was 2013 when the first Frozen movie came and it was a sensation with little ones all over the world. The anticipation is high and we all want to know if Frozen 2 is going to be as successful as the first one. Keep reading to find out if I liked the movie and what I thing about the songs. About the movieWhy was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough. From the Academy Award®-winning team—directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho and songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez—and featuring the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Frozen 2” opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 22, 2019. Watch a trailerDid we like it?I have to start by being honest and telling you that I was not a Frozen fan. I mean Elsa and Anna are cute and Olaf is adorable but I didn't love the movie and I was so ready to Let it Go. But a couple of months ago, when I attended the Frozen 2 early press day, I kind of knew I was going to like this one better. Frozen 2 is a little darker, with some more action that the first one. It is still has too many songs, however some of them are really fun and one of them although the song is not fun, the video part of the song was so funny the whole theater was laughing. I believe that the plot was good at explaining Elsa's powers and develop the relationship between the two sisters in a very relatable way. I believe some of the new characters give the movie a more realistic tone, it is just not the two sisters but actually a story to tell. Some of the songs are as intense as Let it go, so be prepared for kids to be singing it over and over (maybe a reason I didn't like the first movie as much). Before watching the movie I was convinced my 14 year old son was not going to ever even care about the movie, and after watching it, I think he can actually see the movie once the DVD is out. So better than the first one, but I don't think we are going to need a Frozen 3.
