Give me all the cozy, plush, oversized clothes, blankets and more to curl up in as the weather turns from warm to cooler. With each new season also comes new trends that you can embrace or shy away from. Personally I love to be bold and try new things, especially if it’s out of my comfort zone. I think that going out of your comfort zone can result in a new confidence you didn't think you had. Below are a few fall items you don’t want to miss during this season. I hope you at least try one of them! All LeatherLiterally. If you can look anywhere, it’s looking for this type of fabric for the fall. Think pants, blazers, skirts, dresses and trench coats! What is the big twist this fall you ask? Look for leather based different colors such as green, gray, burgundy or even lilac as a crazy twist! Also, don’t think that wearing skin-tight leather anymore is the big thing. Phew. For example, try a shift dress instead of a bodycon piece. It’s with noting that vegan and sustainable options have come a huge way and designers are offering a more beautifully tailored look for those that are wanting this option. Brigerton TrendDid you watch this popular Netflix show? It was one of the most watched shows ever with over 80 million views globally! If you did watch this period drama, you know how epic those customers were. Turns out, this show also sparked some trends this fall including long gloves and ruffled collars, even over the top romantic gowns. If you aren’t sure how to make this type of trend into an everyday outfit you feel comfortable in, look for something with lace which is an elegant and classic fabric for any time of year. You can try to wear a corset top or one of my all time favorite pieces is a puff shoulder and sleeve. There are so many exciting and new options, colors and styles to choose from. Pair it with cute over slouched jeans and booties for a casual look or dress it up with faux pants and high boots for a sophisticated dinner night out. Hair AccessoriesWhen it comes to adding accessories, it seems one way to take it from day to night is adding something to your head. Whether it’s a few cute beaded barrettes or an adorable hat, adding a hair accessory can really amplify your outfit this fall. For those that are sensitive in the hair department because of postpartum hair loss or balding all of a sudden, there is also a way to help you bring your confidence out instead of hiding it this fall. Picasso Scalp Micropigmentation is a business in Los Angeles that is changing the way men and women view themselves. They offer a non surgical service of S.M.P. aka scalp micropigmentation treatment to microdot tattoos to give the appearance of healthy hair follicles in the pattern of a regular hairline. Scalp Micropigmentation in California can help fill in some things, even with longer hairstyles. It’s a great option for women looking to boost their confidence this fall and don’t want to hide behind a scarf. Cut OutsWhile this trend has been out for a few seasons, it seems like the cut outs have only been getting bigger and sexier. You’ll see cutouts on the back, the side around the neckline. The most wearable way to wear this is by the neckline. I loved a cutout top around the holidays and a similar one that was part of various seals throughout the year. If you love your back, go for a cutout in the back. If you don’t think you can pull it off, you can! Bottom line is don't be afraid to experiment with this , at any age. It’s very elegant and shows off just a small show of skin. Whatever trend you want to experiment with this fall, my biggest advice would be to try and do it yourself ( especially if it comes to cutouts which are easy DIY to do ) and to not spend a ton of money either since trends do fade in a few months. Enjoy the chance to experiment on what makes you feel confident and your best self. Perhaps add a leather jacket to an outfit for a night out, add cute booties to jeans and a flannel shirt or a final touch of a fun pop of color scarf to an already great brunch look. Whatever the case, remember to just be yourself and enjoy it!
