Disclosure: I am receiving complementary tickets for the park to be part of the New Years Celebration, however all opinions expressed are my own We love Knotts, but you probably know that already. We visit several times a year, not only for the rides but for all the fun things we can do, and the great food we can get. We were just celebrating some #merryfarm and now we will spending New Years eve at the park. According to my son, we would like to be on a roller coaster at midnight, so he can finish the year riding and start the new year riding. That sounds like a fun plan for me. So what does the celebration include? Well besides live entertainment, fireworks there is other things that will make Knotts the place to be for New Year's eve. And the cool thing is that all the celebration is included with regular daytime admission and the park will have extended hours (open 10 am to 1 am)

Available today on DVD is the new comedy “Contest”, directed by Anthony Joseph Giunta. About the movie: Bullied high school student Tommy (Daniel Flaherty) is suddenly befriended by his chief tormentor, Matt (Kenton Duty), the school’s most popular student and star athlete. Tommy is suspicious, but is forced to accept the awkward friendship in order to enter a cooking contest with a big prize. And besides, it’s so much easier to impress his crush, Sarah (Katherine McNamara), when he’s not getting beat up by Matt and his team. As the cooking contest heats up, Sarah sniffs out a conspiracy, but nobody wants to hear about it. Can Tommy trust his budding friendship with Matt or is it all a huge joke on him? It is a movie that older kids and teens might enjoy. My son that is 8 had fun watching some scenes but did not really fall for all of them, but for sure older kids with relate better and enjoy it more.
You can get it today at stores. It will keep your teenager kids glued to the tv for a couple of hours…. |
