 Last week was my son's first day of classes at the local College. A super important reason to celebrate. You read that right, my 13 year old is taking classes at College. We asked him to pick a place to have dinner and celebrate and he chose Islands Restaurants. I was thrilled that the nice people at Islands Restaurants had invited us for a media tasting and we were going to be able to enjoy food to facilitate writing this post. We have always been fans of the restaurant, specially the drinks. When we arrived to the restaurant, it was still pretty hot outside. Hubby and I decided to order some drinks. They were so good and refreshing. Our favorites are Mai Tai (Dark rum, pineapple & orange juices, sweet & sour, orgeat syrup, grenadine & a float of Myers’s Rum), Big Island Iced Tea (Vodka, gin, tequila, rum, triple sec, pineapple juice & strawberry purée), and the Mosocw Mule (Amsterdam vodka, lime juice & ginger beer)  Mai Tai  Big Island Iced Tea  Moscow Mule  Great appetizers to choose from as well, but our family loves the Buffalo Wings (Traditional spicy sauce, served w/carrots, celery & ranch dressing) and the Spinach & Artichoke Dip (Chopped spinach & artichoke hearts mixed w/sautéed onion & garlic in a creamy alfredo sauce, served w/fresh chips & salsa). We usually order nachos and quesadilla as well, so this time around our order was different. We went with the following
