I was provided with a complementary tour to facilitate this post, however all opinions, typos and grammatical errors are my own.
Just 75 miles from Los Angeles, in the beautiful town of Wrightwood you can find Zip Lines at Pacific Crest, and awesome place to come with friends and family and have some adventure and experience your daily dose of adrenaline rush.
Zip Lines at Pacific Crest is located in the San Gabriel Mountains next to Mountain High Resort, the y are open all year, you know what does mean? You can Zip Line over the snow in the winter months! The offer 3 tours
You know the type of adventure you are going to have when the van that is driving you to the mountains is playing the song of the movie Jurassic Park. It is the perfect start of our day and it gets you in the mood for soaring over the trees.
After you book your adventure at Ziplines at Pacific Crest this is what you should expect
Once you are all checked in, and the group is ready you will be gearing up. Your tour guides will help you get your gear on and then you will head the the van that will take you to the beginning of your adventure. There is going to be some hiking involved. Nothing too bad, but it is walking on dirt on a mountain.
The first Zip Line is your training line. Your tour guide will give you instructions on what to do and what NOT to do. It is important to pay attention, specially to the breaking system, meaning YOU!. You read that right. You will be helping break yourself. Once you hear all the instructions you are ready to experience the adventure. We did the Canopy Tour with 9 zip lines, 2 rappelling from majestic big pines and Two “Indiana-Jones” style sky-bridges. The Zip Lines are amazing. In the fastest one you could zip line at around 60 miles per hour. The longest one is around 1500 feet and the highest one is around 306 feet. Definitely the place for a great adventure. One thing I really loved about the tours? besides all the adrenaline rush, the tour guides teach you about the area and nature. I learned a lot about the area. I am sure all tour guides are amazing, but Nick and Shaun were great!
Here are some pictures (they are available for you to purchase after your tour) that shows how much fun we had.

Looks like a blast!! The mountains are beautiful. We love escaping the city and going to the mountains. FInding fun activities like this makes it even better! I am not a fan of heights so I would have some issues here but my family would love it!

I love zip lining! My first time was in Haiti. It's the longest over forest and the ocean. Screamed the whole way down (control freak here. Must be able to feel the ground with at least one foot!) but it was entirely exhilarating. I would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat.

Love your images, look like you had a blast. Zip lining is something I have on my bucket list to do, I can't wait to try it. My girls did it and loved every minute. Knowing me I would be screaming like a fool the whole time...lol

Oh wow! Part of me thinks that looks like a blast. Then, the part of me that's scared of heights decides that it isn't. Lol! Looks like there is so much to do and the landscape is beautiful. It would be fun for groups or families. :)

Your photos capture the moments so perfectly. I have a fear of heights big time so I don't think this is for me at all. The mountains sure are beautiful and the scenery would look awesome from the zip line. Looks like you had lots of fun,

I have not been zip lining in ages! I desperately want to do it again soon though. Zip lining in the San Gabriel mountains sounds like a lot of fun - however that sky stair bridge is giving me heart palpitations looking at it! The next time I am in the LA area, I will definitely look into this adventure!
