Walt Disney Studios’ “Cruella’'
Cruella is one of our favorite villains, and we all needed to understand what happened to her, because a normal acting person would never be evil enough to make a coat out of sweet dogs. This movie might have all the answers for us.
About the movie
Set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, follows a young grifter named Estella, a clever and creative girl determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the London streets. One day, Estella’s flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute, played by two-time Oscar® winner Emma Thompson (“Howards End,” “Sense & Sensibility”). But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella.

Did we like it?
Without hesitation I can say that Cruella is one of Disney's best live-action remakes. This movie is the third live-action installment in the 101 Dalmatians and Emma Stone is amazing playing Cruella De Vil.
Let me just day this is not a kid's movie. It is dark. Think the Joker but telling hte story of one of our favorite Disney villains. It is phenomenal. The soundtrack and the costumes deserve many awards. The acting is great. We get to learn why Cruella became evil, and we have a good movie to enjoy.
Now let's talk about hair and make-up: flawless. Between all the fashion and stylish looks you will be trasported in time.
Although the movie is great, I was expecting more of the story, also the movie is a little long to not get all the points across (maybe they will give us a sequel), but at the end, I cannot wait to pay for the $29.99 for Disney+ Premier Access and watch it again Friday, May 28th. (Once you have unlocked Premier Access, you’ll be able to watch it as long as you have a subscription to Disney+.)
If you’re ready to return to theaters, the movie will release in theaters as well.
