TOMORROWLAND opens in theaters everywhere Today!
What can I say about this movie? Well main character is played by George Clooney. Do I need to say more?
Actually I can say that my son liked the movie a lot. So there you have it, my review is not biased, it is actually the thoughts of my 10 year old.
About the movie
From Disney comes two-time Oscar® winner Brad Bird’s riveting, mystery adventure “Tomorrowland,” starring Academy Award® winner George Clooney. Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.” What they must do there changes the world—and them—forever. Featuring a screenplay by “Lost” writer and co-creator Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird, from a story by Lindelof & Bird & Jeff Jensen, “Tomorrowland” promises to take audiences on a thrill ride of nonstop adventures through new dimensions that have only been dreamed of.
Did we like it?
Yes we liked it. It has a great plot, the acting is good and the special effects are awesome. The story line keeps you entertained and it is actually though provoking. It is one of those movies that make you think about life without getting you depress. Although it has sci-fi, it also has humor and of course some dramatic scenes.
It might be to complex for little ones, but my son 10 enjoyed it. The movie does goes back and forward in time, so a younger child might not understand what is happening and the language is also scientific. Might be a great movie for tweens and teenagers.
