The 25th Anniversary Celebration of Jurassic Park! Happening at Universal Studios May 11 & 12

I still remember the anticipation for the first movie. I still remember the first time we rode Jurassic Park at Universal Studios. It is hard to believe it has been 25 years since the movie came out. What a best way to celebrate that going to Universal Studios, watching the movie and riding the ride? 

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Jurassic Park – the groundbreaking, blockbuster film – Universal has announced the Jurassic Park 25th Anniversary Celebration, a specially ticketed, nighttime event. The event will be held on May 11 and 12.

Take a journey back into the world of the dinosaurs at Universal Studios Hollywood™ to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the movie that started it all: Jurassic Park™. Enjoy special exhibits, themed photo ops, a fan costume show, live entertainment, giveaways, character sightings, exclusive after-hours access to face off against a 50-foot T. rex on Jurassic Park® – The Ride, and much more.

A private screening of the original film will also be held at Universal Cinema on CityWalk.

Tickets for the event are $69. Guests ages 2 and under are free.
What to expect:

• Friday, May 11th: Event hours are 7:00pm-12:40am with park entry beginning at 5:30pm and movie screening at Universal Cinema at 10:30pm.
• Saturday, May 12th: Event hours are 5:00pm-12:00am with Universal Cinema entry for movie screening beginning at 4:00pm and park entry at 7:30pm.

Guests will receive a special commemorative lanyard and unlimited access to all things Jurassic, from the acclaimed theme park ride, to original props, including the Gyrosphere as seen in the record-breaking Jurassic World, original dinosaur maquettes, costume displays and an interactive expo area.  Live entertainment, themed food and merchandise will also be available to complement the event.
