These edible lightsabers make an awesome snack for a party, or anytime! Simply coat thin breadsticks with melted white chocolate or sour cream, then roll in a variety of colored toppings, the best part is that they are prefect to celebrate May the 4th!
Feel free to swap out the toppings for alternate types of candy or crushed salty snacks according to what you have or are your household favorites. This project is a good opportunity to get the kids’ creative juices flowing as they think about what foods might be the perfect match for Luke’s blue lightsaber or Darth Vader’s red one. Don’t worry though, the only battles that will be taking place using these lightsabers is who gets to eat the last one!
