Spring into fun with Nintendo! Keep the kids entertained during Spring Break and beyond. I have the latest on Nintendo games being released for the Nintendo Switch in the upcoming months.

Spring is here and it is time to let the kids have some fun with their electronics. They have been doing virtual learning, so plan a fun picnic with them outside, let them play and run and then let them have some time with their Nintendo Switch. Play with a few of the oldie games and let them get excited about the new games coming soon.

Pokemon Snap

Explore lush scenery on unknown islands to snap photos of Pokémon in their natural habitats.  Seek out and take in-game photographs of Pokémon in their native environments in the New Pokémon Snap™ game, only for the Nintendo Switch™ system! Snap photos from the NEO-ONE as you you encounter and research lively wild Pokémon. You might see unexpected expressions or behaviors—Pokémon patrolling their territory, playing, or lurking in out-of-the-way spots.
Investigate the mysterious Illumina phenomenon.  Travel to the islands that make up the Lental region. In this region, some of the Pokémon and vegetation will appear to have a special glow. Research these Pokémon alongside Professor Mirror as you explore dense jungles, vast deserts, and more! Your observations of Pokémon thriving in the wild may help unravel the truth behind the Illumina phenomenon. The Pokémon pictures you take will be used to build your very own Pokémon Photodex!

Save, edit, and share your favorite Pokémon photos.  Save photos to your personal in-game album to edit and adjust them. When you complete a course, you can adjust the brightness, blur, zoom and other aspects of your photo in Re-Snap mode. Then, add stickers, frames, and filters to add a personal touch. Share your favorite photos with family and friends in-game *. You can also see what kinds of photos everyone else is taking. See something you like? Award a Sweet! medal.

This new game brings the gameplay of the 1999 Pokémon Snap game for the Nintendo 64™ system to life on the Nintendo Switch system with unknown islands to discover and different Pokémon to see!

Photograph lively wild Pokémon in their natural habitats as you research and explore unknown islands. Hop in your trusty travel pod, the NEO-ONE, and journey through a variety of environments such as beaches, jungles, and deserts to capture previously-unseen Pokémon behaviors. You can even play a melody or toss Pokémon a delicious fluffruit to catch their attention. Photos you take can also be used to fill out your very own Pokémon Photodex!

Your photos are scored based on the Pokémon’s poses, how large they appear, how directly they’re facing you, and other factors. You may even snap a four star-worthy photo if you catch rare Pokémon behaviors. These scores can be shared via in-game rankings* so you can compare your shots with other Pokémon photographers around the world.

In the Lental region, Pokémon and vegetation have sometimes been seen to glow. Meet Professor Mirror and work with him to uncover the mystery of the Illumina Phenomenon. Your photos and observations may be key to learning about this strange occurrence.

Miitopia

Star in your own adventure alongside your favorite people!  Cast your friends, family or anyone you choose in a hilarious adventure to bring down the face-stealing Dark Lord. Create and customize Mii™ characters of anyone you like—from your favorite celebrities to your dreaded math teacher—and assign them roles or personality traits in the fantasy adventure of a lifetime. With expanded customization in Miitopia, you can even add wigs and makeup to give your characters more…character. Watch your characters come to life as your favorite actor and dear old grandma team up to topple the villainous Dark Lord that resembles your grumpy neighbor!

Foster friendship between your hand-picked Mii characters.  Pair up your Mii characters at inns to build their relationships and see some personality-packed interactions. You may hear some hot gossip on grandma or find your best friend and mom doing pushups! Characters may also learn skills like “lend a hand” and help each other out during battle. Outings let you send character pairs on bonding experiences at the beach, a café, and more. Even your trusty horse can lend a hoof!

Bring your friends into battle.  Engage in turn-based combat against outlandish baddies like the gyrating Twerkey to gain experience and level up characters. Tailor your strategy by assigning Mii characters jobs like mage, warrior, and pop star that will determine their approach to battle. Need a boost? Food is used to recover health and magic to keep your party in fighting shape.

Mario Golf Super Rush

​Tee off with family and friends in the biggest Mario Golf game yet.  Hit the green with up to four players locally* or online** and golf with familiar Mushroom Kingdom characters. Modes range from Standard Golf to the energetic Speed Golf and an RPG-like golf adventure in story mode. Intuitive motion or button controls, a shot gauge that adapts to the curve of the course, and other new features make it easy for both new players and seasoned pros to drive and putt with power.

Swing simultaneously and make a break for the ball in Speed Golf.  Tee off at the same time with up to three other players* and race through the course to get your ball in first. Outpace and interrupt your opponents with dashes and special shots. Mario, for example, can blow other players' balls away.

Rise through the ranks of golf training in story mode.  Enroll your Mii™ character in golf training in a prestigious country club and go from rookie to pro! DC Super Hero Girls Teen Power

Suit up as the DC Super Hero Girls and save Metropolis!  Join the fight as Wonder Woman, Supergirl, and Batgirl from the animated series DC Super Hero Girls, and save Metropolis from some of DC’s most notorious Super-Villains! Each hero can battle baddies with a unique set of abilities: Wonder Woman uses her warrior skills with the Lasso of Truth and Flying Shield, Supergirl has Heat Vision and Super-Breath, and Batgirl can invent crime-fighting gadgets like the Batarang and Bat-Hook. But when you’re not out fighting crime, you have to balance the super life with their lives as teenagers!

Freely explore the city as teenage Super Heroes.  Don’t forget to meet up at the best hangout spots from the show like Metropolis High School and Sweet Justice, which also happen to be great places where you can snap photos to share on Superstapost.
