SONIC THE HEDGEHOG RACING INTO THEATERS THIS FRIDAY FEBRUARY 14, 2020 A few weeks ago I was invited to the Blue Carpet Screening and Family Day Event in Los Angeles and we had so much fun before the screening with all the games and food available. However the surprise of the day was what happened during the movie screening. Keep reading so you can find out. About the movieBased on the global blockbuster videogame franchise from Sega, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG tells the story of the world’s speediest hedgehog as he embraces his new home on Earth. In this live-action adventure comedy, Sonic and his new best friend Tom (James Marsden) team up to defend the planet from the evil genius Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) and his plans for world domination. The family-friendly film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic. Watch a trailerDid we like it?I am going to stat saying that I was only familiar with Sonic because my son loves playing video games. The character from the popular Sega video games is coming to theaters in a live-action comedy that combines CGI animals and humans for an unpredictable story. Since I didn't know much about the character, I was really thinking I am going to fall asleep during the screening. I was interested on letting my son watch the movie because he is the real fan here. But then something happened. The movie started and I couldn't fall asleep. I thought it was so clever with the jokes and I actually fell in love with Sonic. Although the story is silly, the movie keeps you trying to figure out what happens next. It is really fun and my son and his friends really liked it. Acting wise, you can expect Jim Carey be as funny as he has been in his other movies. Eccentric and loud. Still funny though. My son, the real critic here for this movie, thought the movie was good, although the character it is different from the one from the video games, the story has good character development and it is very entertaining. So there you have it. Your kids are going to love it and you dear parent might not fall asleep on this one. Celebrate Valentine's day with SonicRoses are red. Sonic is blue.
