Shakira Fisher Price First Steps (Primeros Pasos) Collection (Bilingual Toys)

If you are my reader you know that I try to keep my Colombian culture alive at thome. You also know I speak Spanish to my son and that he is on a dual immersion program so he can practice his Spanish. I believe in the power of being bilingual and education. 

So when I heard that a Colombian artist was working with a toy company to bring cute toys that help with education, music and learn Spanish I was very excited. Then I learned that it was Shakira and I was very impressed.

But let's hear from Shakira herself on why she wanted to work with Fisher-Price:

The line includes a some toys that are already available in the market such as the Kick & Play Piano Gym, a Musical Friends Bouncer  and the Stack ‘n Learn Alphabet Blocks. There are two toys expected to come out during the fall that were announced during the New York Toy Fair and they are

2. Shakira Flash Cards: eaches baby all sorts of fun first words including animals, vehicles, foods and more! Comes with 20 cards, each with a first word in both English and Spanish, and correlating picture on front with fun texture on back. SRP: $14.99| Ages 6-36 Months| Available: Fall 2015

I cannot wait until the two products are out to buy them for my little niece. I am sure she will love them, they are cute and educational at the same time that will allow the kids to have fun.
