Road trips are fun inside the Mitsubishi Outlander

Just in time for Sprig Break we got to drive test a Mitsubishi XLS 2WD Outlander 2L for a whole week. Here it is our honest review. I want to remind everyone I only know a few things about cars. They need gas, oil changes and air on the tires. This review is not about tech specifics. This is just our experience while driving the car.

Lots of dun things planned for Spring break and we also had a wedding to attend. We were happy to have "Louise Red" with us. My son named her like this after he saw the beautiful rally red color of the vehicle we got to test drive for a week.

We really enjoyed somethings about the Mitsubishi XLS 2WD Outlander 2L, here it is a list of our favorite things:

Power glass sunroof. We live in California and although we love sunroofs my hair is always a mess when the air starts flowing inside the car. So having a glass sunroof was awesome. We enjoyed the sunny days and my hair stayed nice. This was awesome the day we headed down by the Pacific Coast Hwy towards Santa Monica for my cousin's wedding.

We also loved that the car has an extra USB charger. My son was able to play in this tablet while I was charging my phone
The days I got up early to go to work I was super happy with the efficient heating system and heated seats. Yes, mornings in California can be chilly and having the seated heat was something really nice.
The car was easy to drive and was good on mileage.
The car has a rear view camera that is great for backing up and parking.
The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is a -door SUV that seats seven passengers.
The car has awesome safety features such as Lane Departure Warning system (alerts you if you leave your lane unintentionally) Adaptive Cruise Control (alerts you if you are not within safe driving distance of the vehicle ahead) and The Forward Collision Mitigation system (help drivers avoid accidents by automatically applying the brakes when necessary).
Plenty of leg room for everyone in the car
Great stereo system and bluetooth.

One thing that we would improve is the navigation system. I wish the car I drove had a GPS. I do know other models have it, so it might had been just the one I got to drive, but in this time and age all cars should have one.

How many does this seat? We have started looking for replacement vehicles for the van but I think this one might be a little small. Right now we need to have at least 6 seats in order to accommodate everyone and this looks like is seats 5? I love that your using the heated seats... in California! Too funny! We use them here all the time but we get ice and snow... a lot!

Now that is a beautiful SUV! I love the color and the sleek look of it. All the features like heated seats, safety features, and USB ports are awesome as well. Thank you for introducing me to the Mitsubishi Outlander!

Two features of this car that I like is the glass sunroof and the heated seats. The heated seats is something that I would love as I tend to feel the chill faster than anyone else in my family. Looks like you had a great time driving around .

That car is great for outdoorsy travels. It's also an ideal family car for a family of four or five. I like the power glass sunroof since it makes the exterior design extra cool. In terms of gas consumption, is it economical?

"Louise Red" too cute! I love that your son named the car. The Mitsubishi Outlander looks like a really nice car. How many does it seat? The sunroof has to be my favorite feature. I'm looking at replacing my van but both of my girls are still in carseats and my husband is really tall so I need a vehicle with plenty of space. I wonder how the Mitsubishi Outlander would do on space with carseats in the back?

I am already a Mitsubishi fan because I own an Endeavor. I absolutely love my truck, but I also love the new sleek look of the Outlander. I will definitely be getting another Mitsubishi when I upgrade!

I am just beginning to research cars as I am looking for my very first one! My eyes lit up at this; it's gorgeous vut common sense tells me it is WAYYYY too big for a first car.

I want a sunroof so bad! My boyfriend has one and never uses it and it drives me crazy. I borrow his car every chance I can get. :-)

Adaptive cruise control is the best! It only took me driving a car with it once to hate the regular cruise control in my car. It's awesome for road trips.
