Disney invited me to screen the movie to facilitate this post. All opinions, typos and grammatical errors are my own. This week I was able to screen Pixar Onward movie during the World Premiere held in Los Angeles. Disney invites are always so magical and this one was very special. I had seen the trailer of the movie back in D23 convention back in August last year and I knew this movie was one I didn't want to miss. About the movieTwo teenage elf brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot, go on an journey to discover if there is still a little magic left out there in order to spend one last day with their father, who died when they were too young to remember him. Watch a trailerDid we like it?What a cute and emotional movie Pixar Onward is. It has funny moments, and I saw small kids seating in the movie theater entertained by the film, but as the mom of a teenager, I think families with older kids need to take them to see this movie. It has such a great message of family love and understanding. It helps you realize that sometimes you already have at home what you are looking for in other places. What a wonderful journey and a different story from what Pixar has done before. The cast was amazing. I loved Tom Holland and Chris Pratt as brothers but the character I enjoyed the most was Julia Louis-Dryfuss as Laurel Lightfoot. Maybe because I hope I am that type of mom, but her character was great. If you are going to watch the movie, make sure to pack some tissues, because oh boy, Pixar had me crying all over again. Make sure to watch Pixar Onward in theaters March 6, 2020
