Parque Panaca (Quindio, Colombia)
Panaca is the first agricultural theme park in the world and it offers a unique fun experience that allows you to interact with the countryside and its animals. The park has amazing shows, very impressive thematic Stations and a unique amount of animals on its 2.8 kilometers.

The park slogan is "Without countryside there is no city" (Sin campo no hay ciudad) and during the very educational but entertaining shows the message is thought to visitors, specially kids. It is important to learn that the eggs you eat for breakfast come from the chicken, and that the chickens need the people form the countryside to take care of them and there is a process for it. The eggs just do not come from the store, and when you learn that you will value the countryside.
The mix of great human talent, made up of acrobats, coaches and troubadours, provide visitors with fun exhibitions.

The park also offers adrenaline rushing experiences such as Zip Line, tibetan bridge, nature walks and even Horseback Riding.
The Zip Line is the longest cable flight in Colombia. More than 2 thousand meters of route in 5 sections on coffee plantations and beautiful landscapes.

As you walk from station to station, take time to look around and enjoy the amazing views, breath fresh air and get in touch with nature. You can also do some souvenir shopping at the different shops around the park.

WOW, my mom is from Colombia (Cartagena de Indias) and I admit I have ventured out some when I go to visit, but hadn't heard of Panaca. Very interesting! I will have to ask her if she's heard about it.

An agricultural theme park sounds like a great idea. It sounds very educational for the kids. Those pigs are so cute. The zipline and the Tibetan Bridge look amazing. I would love to visit Panaca.

This looks to be an incredible park. I love all the stations here and it seems that you get to be a lot more interactive in them than a lot of the other places I have been to with animals. I am sure my daughter would love a place like this.

I would love to go to an agriculture theme park. My kids might not like it but I would love it. Your photos capture your trip beautifully. Oh goodness the photo of the piggys is too cute.

What a beautiful park. I would love to visit, animals really steal my heart. I could spend all day just admiring them.I love this type of adventure for vacation.

I grew up on a small farm in Iowa, and agriculture is such a part of who I am. I had no idea there was a a them park devoted to it! I love all of the different stations to learn more about animals. The zip line and bridge give me butterflies in my tummy! Thanks so much for telling your readers about the park

What an amazing park! Zip lining looks like so much fun, that bridge?! Did you go over it? I don't know if I'd even try. It looks like there is so much to do and at all different levels. I'd love to travel there one day in the future.

Oh, wow! This park looks amazing. I have two children who would just adore it here. Stacey's a bit of a daredevil so she'd definitely be giving that zip wire a try :)
