New Nighttime Light Show at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Universal Studios Hollywood

​Hogwarts light up at new Universal Studios Hollywood attraction. Some park visitors were lucky enough to enjoy side by side with the media the preview showing of the new Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle at the Warding World of Harry Potter last night.

About the show

​Starting June 23, see Hogwarts™ castle come to life in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™. With dazzling lights and color, the all-new The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts™ Castle spectacle is the perfect way to end your day at Universal Studios Hollywood™.

​The show that officially will begin on Friday, June 23, is narrated by The Sorting Hat and presents the four houses of Hogwarts: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin. Not only the lights are amazing but the show has a musical arrangement created by Academy Award-winning composer John Williams.

The show only last around 6 minutes, but they will have different times of showings after dark nightly. So you can enjoy the park during the day and then head toward the Hogwarts Castle area to get a good spot to see the show.

Have your camera ready because you will be able to capture amazing shots of the colorful images and take video of the special effects.

Do not forget to get your Butter Beer!
