If you are traveling and visiting Ohio, you need to make sure you plan for a visit to the National Museum of the Air Force. Located just one hour south of Cincinnati and three hours from Cleveland, it a a perfect destination for a day trip with the family.
The museum offers FREE admission and parking, plus FREE WiFi!
At the time of our visit the museum had 3 buildings, but as of June 8th, a fourth building has been opens, which means that there is even more cool things to see.
The museum displays more than 360 vehicles (airplanes, missiles, motorcycles and more) that take you on a journey thru military aviation history. It has some interactive experiences and covers everything from the Early Years Gallery, the World War II Gallery, the Korean War Gallery, the Southeast Asia War Gallery and the Cold War Gallery, It also has a missile galerry, space gallery and even a reserach and development gallery.
Kids of all ages can enjoy the displays, so this is a great family place to visit during vacation.
