Mom deserves to be spoiled. Shop for her at the Camarillo Premium Outlets

I cannot remember the last time I went shopping for me. I mean once in a while I get myself a pair of shoes or a new t-shirt, but it has been more than 10 years when I went shopping and splurge on me. Being a mom sometimes means you put your family before you and that is totally ok but it is nice to also pamper yourself and reward yourself with good things.

With mother's day coming up (and my birthday too), I though going shopping was a good way to celebrate. I got a gift card provided by the awesome people at the Camarillo Premium Outlets to check them out and hubby also got me a gift card, so I could go out and buy a couple of things. Since I have been losing weight, I need new clothes, and I also wanted to get a couple of other things.

I visited the Outlets on a beautiful sunny morning. If you have never been, I think you should plan a trip soon. Camarillo Premium Outlets is  located off highway 101 and it has 160 stores.  I totally recommend you enroll on the VIP shopper Club (easy enrollment online), that way you can save money with hundreds of deals. Once you arrive to the Camarillo Premium Outlets, head towards Guest Services. IF you are a VIP Shopper Club member of if you have a AAA card, you can pick up a Savings Passport that will provide you with more discounts. (You can also buy it for $5.00)

Once you pick up your Saving Passport, I recommend you choose where would you like to shop first. The Outlets have a Main Court, a Fashion Court and The Promenade. They all have great stores and dinning choices. I stared my day at the Fashion Court. Stopped by Michael Kors, Guess, Nike Store and the newly opened Express among others.

After doing some shopping I got hot. It was refreshing to find plenty of comfortable benches, seats and even a few couches to relax at. There is even a Starbucks located at the Main Court with seats to recharge your batteries and continue shopping.

I explored the Main Court. Stopped by Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger and grabbed something to eat at the food court. I was enjoying the alone shopping and the awesome deals available.

From there, I decided to drive to The Promenade. You could walk, however I knew I was going to be going home after a few more stores, so I decided to move the car. I was super happy though, because beside shopping I was getting my cardio done. I walked over 15,000 steps that day. So I do advice you to wear comfortable shoes while shopping.

Once at The Promenade I found GAP, Forever 21, Journeys, Crocs and other favorite stores. I was super happy with all the savings. I found items on clearance and they had savings on top of the already lower prices, so pretty much I got a few bags full of clothes for what I would had normally pay just for an outfit.

If you want to spoil mom for mother's day why not buying her a Simon Gift Card at the Outlets? They are Visa/Mastercard or AMEX cards that can be used at any of the stores at the Outlets. That way mom can choose what she wants and needs. If you are not big on gift cards, then head over to the Outlets and get your mom a present to say thank you for all she has done. Also remember to get something for grandma, your aunties and off course your mother-in-law. There is a store for everyone in your list.
