Mickey Mouse Churro Cookies

Another month staying safe at home and missing Disneyland. Today we decided to make some Mickey Mouse Churro Cookies. These Mickey’s Churro Cookies are baked which makes them easier to make and they would be a great dessert or afternoon snack that the whole family is going to enjoy.

Ingredients

• ​Ready Made Refrigerator Pie Crust or homemade pie crust dough (room temperature)
• Cinnamon
• Sugar
  
• Butter (Melted

Tools

• Mickey Mouse Cookie Cutter (or other shape if desired)
• Cookie Sheet
• Cooling Rack
• Spatula
• Parchment Paper
• Butter brush

Preparation

1. ​Preheat oven to 450*.
2. Unroll or roll out pie dough. To avoid sticking, you can sprinkle a little bit of powdered sugar on your flat surface.
3. Use cookie cutter to cut out the desired shape. Continue doing so until the entire amount of dough is utilized. If you are using the ready make refrigerator pie crust, you can combine the scraps of dough, roll them out and cut out additional shapes.
4. Place your cookies on a baking mat or parchment paper.
5. Melt butter, brush on the cookies.
6. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
7. Bake for 6-8 minutes.
8. Let cool.
9. Serve warm and would be delicious with a chocolate or cream cheese drizzle.
