It has been 5 years since the first Maleficient came to theaters and made us all fall in love with the evil queen. Guess what? She is back and with a story for of twists and unexpected character development.
I am so lucky that Disney invited me to Red Carpet Premiere for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil in Los Angeles. Not only I am a Disney fan, but I love all things Halloween, so I was very happy to be able to watch the movie in the beautiful El Capitan Theater, to walk the red carpet, and to be able to experience all the fun at the after party.
I do not know if you have ever been down in Hollywood when they are having their red carpet events. It gets crazy. The streets are closed not only on the day of the red carpet but also a few days before while they set up. This time around it was setting up the "castle".
We got there early to be able to take some cool pictures. We got our badges and walked the red carpet. There was also a wicked carpet, it is the little details that put everyone in the mood.
You could see a lot of attendees and also a lot of fans wearing the very infamous Maleficient horns. It was so cool seeing so many fans wearing the costumes. I also saw some people dressed as fairies.
It was time to get into the theater, grab popcorn, and something to drink. Get comfortable on the seats of the theater and prepare to be surprised by the plot of the movie. Don't worry there are no spoilers here, although soon we will have the movie review.
After the movie we walked to the The Hollywood Roosevelt hotel for the after party. Just picture food, drinks, music, crafts and off course the cast of the movie.
Oh I cannot forget to tell you about the amazing photo opportunity, yeah, I am finally an evil black angel...

“Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” is a fantasy adventure that picks up several years after “Maleficent,” in which audiences learned of the events that hardened the heart of Disney’s most notorious villain and drove her to curse a baby Princess Aurora. The film continues to explore the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within. The film is directed by Joachim Rønning from a story by Linda Woolverton and a screenplay by Linda Woolverton and Micah Fitzerman-Blue & Noah Harpster, the film is produced by Joe Roth, Angelina Jolie and Duncan Henderson with Matt Smith, Jeff Kirschenbaum and Michael Vieira serving as executive producers.
