The new Lionsgate’s romantic comedy LITTLE ITALY, starring Emma Roberts and Hayden Christensen is coming to select theaters and On Demand September 21st. If you like romantic comedies such as How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Miss Congeniality this movie is for you!
About the movie
The director of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Miss Congeniality serves up a delicious new comedy topped with passion, playfulness, and pepperoni. Former childhood pals Leo (Hayden Christensen, Star Wars series) and Nikki (Emma Roberts, We’re the Millers) are attracted to each other as adults—but will their feuding parents’ rival pizzerias put a chill on their sizzling romance? The tasty all-star cast also includes Alyssa Milano (“Charmed”), with Danny Aiello (Do The Right Thing), and Andrea Martin (My Big Fat Greek Wedding).

Making pizza and talking with the director
It is not every day that you get to spend your lunch hour with friends for a cooking class learning how to make pizza. That is why when Lionsgate invited me to “una festa bellissima” at The Americana at Brand Sur La Table I had to say yes. We got to Sur La Table and we had some cute aprons waiting for us at the table. There was wine and sparkling water and a very fun teacher that helped us make a salad, gave us cooking tips and guided us while we were making a delicious pizza. Just like in the movie.
We also had a chance to speak with the director Donald Petrie who told us about how they filmed at Little Italy in Toronto and people thought the pizza place was real and wanted to order some pizzas from them. He said that the cast was very fun to work with and they had a great time while filming.
He was happy with the feedback he received from us. The movie is a good family movie, funny and no violence. Is a little corny but you know a good chick flick has to be a little corny.
Such a great event and good memories and laughs with my blogging friends.
