Lavender oil to help with Acne

A couple of moths ago, I saw one of my friends posting about essential oils and how they had changed her life. I have always been interested on natural medicine, aromatherapy and ways to treat diseases without the use of so many medicines. 

When I found out about Simply Aroma I was very interested on the oils. To be truthful I really did not see it as a business option, I work long hours and I do not really have time to be "selling" staff. I wanted to join because I can get the oils at a discount price. What happens next is totally amazing. I do not need to sell oils, they sell themselves.

Ok, but back to me trying to find natural ways to help with certain conditions. My son is now 10 (insert tears here), he is growing so fast. There are so many changes that come associated with puberty. One of the main ones is acne. He does not really have the bad acne, but he has just little breakouts. Nothing that needs heavy acne medicine, so I wanted to find a way to help him with something natural at hom.

So after researching what I could use for his skin without having any toxic substances I found out that Lavender oil can help with acne because:

1.  It has antibacterial properties
2. It reduces redness, swelling and irritation 
3. It helps reduces the excess of oiliness
4. It speeds up the skin healing (that also reduces scaring process)

All you have to do is get a teaspoon of the coconut oil and add 2 drops of lavender oil. Apply to the affected areas with a q-tip and next day they are gone. Mind you that the lavender helps him sleep better too, so I am helping his skin and his sleep at once.
