LALLBLOG14 a conference perfect to learn and network

It was an easy decision: going big or going home, and since I really want to learn more about social media, the choice was GOING BIG!

Latina Lifestyle Bloggers Collective and SoCal Lady Bloggers in collaboration with some wonderful sponsors put together an awesome conference. A conference where you still have fun but there is also a lot of learning and opportunities to network. 

The conference starts with the VIP reception party. It is not the crazy party where the music is so loud you cannot even talk. The reception is a great place to network and make connections. This time we were able to taste some beer and try some natural desserts. Besides connecting with friends and meeting new bloggers, we got a very cute swag bag. 

The first day started with some yummy coffee, because you know that bloggers need coffee to learn. The organizers always look for very innovative and natural great products. All is very trendy!

Morning the first day had amazing presenters and panels. One good thing about this conference is that you do not need to choose what session to attend. With one session at the time we all get to learn and listen to all the speakers. We had the following sessions:

1. Networking for Bloggers in the Social Media Age: Expert speakers provided us with tools and tips to grow our blogs and network and avoid burning bridges.
2. Legal 101 for Bloggers: we learned the do's and don'ts in contract law. Pretty much have everything in writing. Great tools to keep our blog as a business.
3. How to create a Digital Strategy to Promote and Grow your Blog/Online Business: this was a great resource to help us think outside the box and create the digital strategy.

We also had a great lunch provided by Stonefire Grill and you can see by the pictures that all was delicious

There was also a sweet break in the afternoon provided by A Sweet Design

We also had the opportunity to interact with brands and network. At the end of the day we had some beer and Make-up and Henna Tattoos

First day was fun, but I knew I needed some rest to be ready for more learning and networking day 2. I drove home everyday around 1 hour and a half and it was just worth it. The panels on day 2 were really great

1. Not Just a Blogger - Showcasing bloggers talked about what you can do to take your blog and create a brand from it
2. Maximizing SEO for your Blog/Online Business with the SEO tricks and information that for sure will help my page to show up on google searches more often
   
3. Tax Do's and Don't for Bloggers, because each blogger has so many questions about taxes and we do not want to get in trouble with the IRS
   
4. The Ethics of Blogging a panel that is very informative panel. It is good to hear how other bloggers deal with issues.
   

Day two food was also great. Lunch was provided by Fresh Brothers

Snacks were the delicious Pretzel Crisps

We also had some ice-cream (But I was busy and could not get any pictures) and more networking. Oh and off course a great swag bag. Stay tune for pictures because a lucky reader will be able to win one bag exactly like mine.
