We were invited to experience the drive-in to facilitate this review. All opinions are our own. L.A. Zoo’s Halloween celebration rises from the dead with a spook-tacular four-night drive-in movie event featuring Halloween classics. Gather the brood for a ghoulishly fun, yet safe, night that includes all the traditional Halloween trappings like a not-too-spooky drive-thru with frightful creatures and decor, treat-and-swag bags, a virtual costume parade, and more. Gather the brood for ghoulishly fun-yet-safe night as the Zoo’s parking lot transforms into a creepy-cool classic drive-in theater, offering boo-tiful photo ops, treat bags with candy and fun swag, and devilishly good food available for purchase via mobile ordering. Arrive early to catch the preshow video presentation featuring favorite Zoo animals, trivia challenges and more. And get in the spirit by dressing in costume and decorating your vehicle! The screen is huge and you listen to the movie by thru the radio on your car. Bring a cooler with snacks and food and enjoy while waiting for the movie and during the movie too. They do have a stand with concessions, just in case (hot dogs, sodas, nachos, etc). If you arrive early, you can get a front of the parking spot, which allows for great view and also being able to leave the venue as soon as the movie ends. They have some trivia questions and a few snaps of animals at the zoo just before the movie starts, but before that, you can enjoy the music they are playing. Schedule and times:Gate opens at 6 p.m., and movie starts at 8:30 p.m.
Cost and tickets:
5333 Zoo Drive, Los Angeles, Calif Parking Lot (follow signs to vehicle entry)

How much fun does this sound like it would be! I have always fancied doing a drive in movie night and watching a spooky film would be right up my street.

This sounds fun! Our family loves watching movies. We have our local drive in theater and we're planning to watch there this week. Drive in theater takes me back to early theater days. I'm excited to spend good time with my family this week!

This is a great idea to loosened up in what we're dealing everyday and to recover one's self.
