L.A. Care Health Plan’s Healthy Holidays Fair at Plaza Mexico, in Lynwood.

Who: Lynwood Mayor Sal Alatorre (invited) Laura Jaramillo, Director of Commercial and Group Plan Operations
Why: To help individuals and families obtain access to high quality, affordable health care.
What: The health fair will focus on providing information to the Latino community and enrolling individuals in L.A. Care Covered™, its Covered California Qualified Health Plan for all of L.A. County. Free, family-friendly events featuring music from Que Buena, balloon artists, face painting, pictures with Santa Claus, the Los Angeles Galaxy mascot, Futboleros and much more.
In order to enroll in L.A. Care Covered™, the following information and documents are necessary:
• Birth date for individual coverage, and/or the birth dates of each family member needing coverage
• A Social Security number for each person to be enrolled
• Current home ZIP code
• Most recent income tax returns, including dependent tax information and head-of-household status (if any)
• Proof of citizenship or residency
