Journey Behind the Falls gives you a different view of the amazing waterfalls. It is a self-guided walking tour through 130 year old tunnels. First, you take an elevator down 125 feet to an observation deck next to Canadian Horseshoe Falls. Then you can explore the multiple cave entrances where you can see Niagara Falls going down with extreme force. Did you know that the amount of water that goes in the waterfalls is one fifth of the entire world’s fresh water?   Before getting into the elevator they give you a yellow poncho, because you are going to be experiencing the Falls mist up close. Did you know that 2,800 cubic meters of water thunders over the brink of the Horseshoe Falls every second, traveling 65 kilometers per hour? We been there but have not gone behind Niagara Falls it looks like such a fun experience. Guess we need to go back.

Wow that looks like a lot of fun. I have always wanted to do that but never was able to. We are thinking about visiting there next year and if we do, I am totally planning this!
