Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey starts streaming on Netflix on November 13, 2020Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey is a visually stunning Christmas musical and it is going to be a holiday movie hit. I can see everyone just singing aloud all the songs during the season. About the movieA musical adventure and a visual spectacle for the ages, Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey is a wholly fresh and spirited family holiday event. Set in the gloriously vibrant town of Cobbleton, the film follows legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle (Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker) whose fanciful inventions burst with whimsy and wonder. But when his trusted apprentice (Emmy winner Keegan-Michael Key) steals his most prized creation, it’s up to his equally bright and inventive granddaughter (newcomer Madalen Mills) — and a long-forgotten invention — to heal old wounds and reawaken the magic within. From the imagination of writer-director David E. Talbert and featuring original songs by John Legend, Philip Lawrence, Davy Nathan, and “This Day” performed by Usher and Kiana Ledé, Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey reminds us of the strength of family and the power of possibility. Watch a trailerDid we like it?The story is fun and I do have to warn you, this is a musical. Lots of dancing and signing but that is what makes this movie a different holiday movie. Think Broadway show on your smart TV. The cast was great and the visuals are amazing, but the best part of this movie is the musical part. I have some songs already stuck on my mind and I cannot wait for the soundtrack to be available so we can play the songs over and over during this holiday season. Do not miss it, it will be streaming on Netflix November 13th Christmas cookies and chocolateA couple of weeks I was able to join some of the cast from the film for a Zoom recipe of cookies and a delicious Frozen Hot Chocolate. They sent me a beautiful box with some goodies for the movie and since it was a cold afternoon I decided to make myself a hot chocolate instead
