The wait is over! Pixar Pier is now open. We all were sad when we learned Paradise Pier was going away and it was going to be transformed into Pixar Pier, but then the excitement of having new food and rides made us anxious about the opening on June 24th.
Pixar pier has four neighborhoods that represent Pixar stories: Incredibles Park, Toy Story Boardwalk, Pixar Promenade and Inside Out Headquarters opening in 2019 What rides can you find at Pixar Pier?
Where to eat at Pixar Pier?
There are five food kiosks on the brand new Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure plus the Lamplight Lounge (previously known as Cove Bar)
1. Poultry Palace
Located on Toy Story Boardwalk and inspired by Pixar’s short, “Toy Story Toon: Small Fry,” the Poultry Palace “building” is a giant fun meal. Here you can buy Jumbo Smoked Turkey Legs, Chicken Drumstick Box, and Corn on the Cob.
We got here the Chicken Drumstick Box. It is a super cute box. Inside you will find 3 breaded chicken legs and a side of coleslaw. The chicken had a good taste. The coleslaw was to dry for us. 2. Señor Buzz Churros
Located on on Toy Story Boardwalk. Buzz Lightyear has switched into Spanish mode and is serving up churros, one of the most iconic snacks at any of the Disney parks.
Here you can get Cinnamon Sugar Galaxy Churro and the Caliente Churro. We tried the Caliente churro and it was actually really good. It tastes like cinnamon Red Hots or Hot Tamales candy. 3. Angry Dogs
Located on the Pixar Promenade. Here Anger from Inside Out serves up hot dogs. But not any kind of hot dogs. He serves Angry Dogs!
You can actually buy an Angry Dog or a Slightly Annoyed Dog. Angry Dogs are served with Flamin’ Hot Fries®, and the Slightly Annoyed Dogs are served with potato chips. We loved the condiment dispenser, because you can add great sauces to your hot dogs. Choose between "Raging" with Buffalo Hot Sauce, “Agitated” with Brown Mustard, "Displeased” with Yellow Mustard,” "Seething" with siracha ketchup, or “Keeping it Together” with Ketchup. We tried the Angry Dog and we actually put the Flamin’ Hot Fries® on top of our dog to make it even spicier. Make sure you have a drink with it because it is HOT! 4. Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums
Located just at the exit of the Incredicoaster. Here you can get: Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums cookie, the The Jack-Jack Shortbread Cookie, and the Incredicookie (Gluten free cookie). You will also find some drinks to go with your cookies (2% milk, Nesquik Chocolate and Strawberry, Soy Milk (Pearl Organic), and Vanilla Almond Milk by Silk). You can also grab here the Incredibles collectible straw featuring Mrs. Incredible (Elastigirl) and Jack-Jack!
The Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums cookie is huge warm chocolate chip cookie. It is rich, chunky chocolate chip cookie is served warm and gooey. The Jack-Jack Shortbread Cookie has an orange icing and a mini Jack-Jack 5. Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats
At Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats you can find icy, sweet treats. Their signature soft-serve item on the menu is a Lemon Dole Whip.
Items on the menu are: Lemon, Chocolate and Vanilla cones. Pixar Pier Frosty Parfait (Nondairy Lemon Soft-serve with Blue Raspberry Swirl), It's Snow-Capped Lemon (Nondairy Lemon Soft-serve dipped in White Chocolate) and Barq's® Root Beer Float Coming soon to Pixar Pier
A new family-friendly ride by the name of Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind will open in Inside Out Headquarters neighborhood, and Jessie’s Critter Carousel will open on the Toy Story Boardwalk. They are both scheduled to open in 2019
