So if you find your mother in law laying down unconscious and not breathing on the floor, would you know what to do? Hey there, for those of you answering I would do nothing, come on she is my mother in law! Well that was not the answer I was expecting. Yes, she might be a pain sometimes, but… Ok, so let’s change that to your husband or wife. Mmmm some of you might have the same answer that for your mother in law. Let me try another time. Let’s say it is your mom, your son or daughter? Oh, I think I got your attention now. So are you prepared? Would you know what to do and save their lives? I am so happy that ACLS National contacted me (My Life is a Journey) to help promote CPR awareness and knowledge. I think that everyone should be prepared for emergencies and know what to do. You should teach your kids what to do. Everyone should be CPR ready. Did you know that you can protect those in your family and community by reviewing a CPR, choking and heat exhaustion refresher in just 6 easy steps? It's easy to learn, completely free and worth every second. Yes, you can visit the Be a Shield website see the refresher that will help you save lives. Now if you are interested on not only getting a refresher but getting certified you can visit the California ACLS for the ACLS cards and register for a course. Do not wait for an emergency to happen, be ready, be prepared, be a Shield!

I took a CPR class when my son was discharged from the NICU but I think It wouldn't hurt to have a refresh class.
