Ice Age Collision Course coming to theaters July 22ndI joined MomsLA for their Ice Age Collision Course event this past weekend. We had a yoga class, great food and off course we got to screen the movie before it came out to theaters.
About the movieScrat’s epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World. To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, traveling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colorful new characters. Watch a trailerYoga, food and comfortable seatsWatching a good movie was not enough. The event that MomsLA held also included a yoga class, where kids and parents were able to stretch, exercise, learn new moves and even relax. The class started with learning the basics, such as the meaning of Namaste and then we practiced some yoga moves. Some of the kids got very adventurous and they even tried the headstand (Sirsasana) move. The classes ended with some relaxation and meditation and put us just on the right mood for good food that included salad, sliders, pizza and some sweets. After that it was time to screen the movie in some very comfortable seats at the iPic Westwood theater while enjoying popcorn and fresh baked cookies. The movie is really fun. At the beginning was a little slow but then all the fun started. The animation and sound have improved a lot since the first movie came out. It is the fifth installment, so I assume adults are a little over it, however my 11 year old was laughing out loud and all the other kids in the theater loved it. It is a great movie to keep the kids inside a cool movie theater on these very hot summer days though. Stay connected and learn more about the movie on:
