The hotel provided us with a room to facilitate this review. All opinions, grammatical errors and typos are my own. This post contains affiliated links.  Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground is an 8 minute walk from Disneyland which makes it a perfect place to stay at while visiting the parks. It is also conveniently located just a few miles from Knott's Berry Farm, Pirates Diner Adventure and Medieval Times. They have been serving the area for 54 years and recently renovated some of their rooms (building one) to have a more clean, retro style look. We were invited to stay at one of their new rooms and we loved the view form our balcony and the convenience of watching the fireworks from our room. More renovations are coming, which means more rooms are going to have the new theme. Look how spacious and good looking the rooms are:  The new rooms come with microwave, refrigerator and Keuring machine on each room. They also offer free parking for the first car and free WiFi  The hotel has a garden pool (which will be closed during some renovations, so please inquire about it when calling to book your room, and also has an amazing water park: Castaway Cove pirate-inspired water playground. Great for little ones, I mean probably 8 and under.  The hotel does not have a restaurant on site, but it has a few choices just a few minutes away. You can choose from Mimi's Cafe, Panera, McDonalds and even IHOP. The hotel has a cute Main Street Market that has souvenirs, clothes and every day necessities. You can also find Target and 99 cent stores near by. There is an ART stop right out front if you want to take the buses to the parks.

I've seen others that I follow on Instagram share about this hotel and they love it too! It's so bright and colorful and you can't beat the location!

What a great review! I've seen the hotel (and that amazing pool) a few times when we are at Disneyland. It is in a great location, so close to the parks. Thanks for the discount codes.
