Although it was a rainy day when we arrived to The Hearst Castle, we were able to enjoy our visit. From start to finish we had a great time. Costumer service is awesome. The employees know a lot about the history of the Castle. The food available for purchase was tasty and the views were great although a little grey.
There is so much history and amazing stories the tour guide can tell you and you will be amazed not only but the expensive art collection but by the unique architecture of the place.
Since they offer more than one tour, I would advise that if you have enough time, invest on getting a tour of the bedrooms and if you are visiting at night one of the night tours. I cannot wait until the Christmas time to take the tour with the castle decorated for Christmas.
The gift shop has amazing memorabilia, the food court have good food and they even have a store where you can buy free-range, all-natural, grass fed and grass-finished beef.
I will leave you here with an invitation to visit this magical place located in the Central coast of California, enjoy the pictures below.
Here are more pictures of the Hearst Castle from my previous trip.
