Halloween has been associated with candy for so many years, Even the traditional trick or treat might imply that the treat is food (candy), however in recent years more people had tried to stay away from candy and try to pass out non-food favors such as small child-safe toys. The dollar stores in your area are a great place to find wonderful non sweet treats for your trick or treaters. Some examples of those items and our favorites at home are: Bubbles Coloring books Stickers Pens & Pencils Halloween Rubber Duckies Glow in the dark toys Play-Doh Crayons Stamps Mini pumpkins Vampire teeth We have also received on the pass some food items that seem to be a healthier alternative to candy such as: Popcorn Individual packs of pretzels Fruit snacks The night of Halloween at home we have a tradition. We called it the Halloween fairy. She comes at night and picks ups the candy and leaves a toy instead. That way if our son did get candy, the candy is gone by next morning, and there is less temptation for everyone and my son is happy with his new toy.

Que buenas alternativas. Yo he hecho la del pop corn para repartir en halloween. Me gustaron las otras. De verdad que es mucho dulce y no les hace mucho bien.
