Grass-fed products seem to be my family's favorites for a BBQ- Teton Water Ranch products review5/26/2014 If you have been reading my blog, you probably know that I am trying to get healthier and it is not only about my weight but it has been about changing eating habits and in general our lifestyle. As I have been reading and learning about food, it has been easy to understand that we need to eat organic foods. The process has been slow and steady, but we have been finding new products that we love and also finding a way to incorporate changes into our lives. I was really happy when I got a care package from Teton Waters Ranch with a few of their new products to try and since Memorial Day was coming, we knew we wanted to have some of then in our menu for the BBQ, although we could not wait to try them and my son wanted a hot-dog, and he gave us two thumbs up on the flavor. Grass-fed meet has a more natural juicy flavor to it, and my son really liked that. Teton Waters Ranch products are made with 100% grass-fed beef – no feedlots, no growth hormones, no antibiotics ever. Animals are born and humanely raised on pasture in the USA in a low stress, clean environment. Teton Waters Ranch and their grass-fed beef ranch partners across the USA adhere to this strong philosophy and commitment to their cattle, consumers and the environment by their steadfast dedication and strict regulations. With the introduction of six uncured links products – Frankfurter, Jalapeño Cheddar Brat, Thuringer, Andouille, Polish Sausage, Kielbasa – and two ground beef items – 90/10 Lean Ground Beef, and 85/15 Lean Ground Beef – Teton Waters Ranch now offers the most extensive product line of its kind within the grass-fed industry. Their grazing and grass finishing practices produce lean and flavorful beef products that are lower in saturated fats and higher in omega 3’s, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and vitamin E than corn or grain-fed beef. These products are gaining popularity among the gluten-free, non GMO and paleo diet trends My son loves spicy food, so his favorite is the Jalapeño Cheddar Brat. My husband seems to like more the Frankfurter and I like the Thuringer but we all like all the varieties that we got to try. They are not available in California just yet, but you can order online on the Teton Waters Ranch Website and if you are in other states, look on the website for stores near you. FOr our BBQ we added some organic chicken and organic corn. Mind you that it is only 3 of us. For a bigger family we had probably added some other organic foods, but we did not want to have food to waste. We did have some organic ice-cream for dessert.
We have found a new favorite item to BBQ and we cannot wait to try more products when they are available in California. Now it is your time to tell us what is your favorite food to have at a BBQ... go!
