About the movie
"The Good Dinosaur" asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo (voice of Raymond Ochoa) makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of. Did we like it?
We like it. I was not sure Pixar was going to be able to bring another movie about feelings but they did. My 10 year old liked as well, but in his own words, this might be a very sad movie for little ones. And I have to agree. Although I loved the movie and will be watching it again, if my son would have been younger not sure if I would take him to see it until I am sure he will be able to understand what is going on.
The movie has its funny moments, cute moments, some frighting moments and off course some sad moments that will for sure bring tears to your eyes.
At the end the message is super cute about the power of family and friendship. So I would say that you probably know your kids well enough to know if they can handle it. But overall, we recommend this movie.
