Gold Skull-Shaped Halloween Hot Cocoa Bombs

I have a recipe for hot chocolate bombs (hot cocoa bombs) that would be great for any Halloween party, but also could be used for a pirate themed party, because let's face it, this gold skulls are spooky but fun.

Ingredients

• ​1 Skull cocoa bomb mold 
• 1 - 30oz of Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate melting wafers
• 1 Can of gold cake spray
• 2 C of salted caramel hot cocoa mix
• 1 C mini marshmallows 1 small skillet over very low heat
• 1 cookie sheet fitted with wax paper 

Preparation

1. The chocolate mold will have 3 parts to it.
   
2. The base part of the mold is the one that will have the face of the skull
   
3. There will be two flexible plastic inserts, set those aside and then you will have another plastic piece that goes into the little plastic inserts like shown in the IP
   
4. Using a heat safe bowl, melt the Ghirardelli chocolate on increments of 45 seconds or until the chocolate is melted
   
5. Fill the base mold with the melted chocolate to the fill line Insert the flexible parts into each mold
   
6. Press the top piece down into the mold to cause the chocolate to fill the shape of the mold
   
7. Place into the fridge for 15 minutes
   
8. Gently pop out the mold and place onto the cookie sheet
   
9. Repeat steps until all orange chocolate has been used
   
10. Building the cocoa bomb :
    
11. Scoop about 1 tbsp of the salted caramel hot cocoa mix and a few mini marshmallows
    
12. Place the top of the shell back onto the warm pan to melt the edges for a few seconds
    
13. Quickly place the melted edges onto the filled shell and gently press down
    
14. Place the skull onto a paper towel and using the cake spray, coat the skull entirely
    
15. Allow to dry completely before enjoying
