This post is a collaboration with Disney Pixar for their movie Coco. All opinions, grammatical errors and typos are my own.
I cannot wait for the movie Coco to be out in theaters and take my family to watch it. The expectations are high. Although I am not Mexican, I am Latina and I am super happy to see that Disney Pixar has decided to make a movie to celebrate Latino culture, specially with a holiday that has so much meaning and represents the best of Latinos: The appreciation and love for Family!
So what a best way to celebrate our excitement for the movie that take advantage of the celebration that Disney California Adventure already has?
Not only you can see a Disney-Pixar’s Coco sneak peek at the Bug’s Life Theater near the entrance of A Bug’s Land but you can also enjoy the decorations at Paradise Garden Grill (Plaza de la Familia) and even some mariachis.
They had also some Mexican food... I loved the Pan de Muerto and although it might not be available right now for you to enjoy no worries, I have the recipe and you can now make it yourself at home. Just download the recipe below. It is easy and it would be a great family activity. (If you do not feel like baking, head over to your nearest bakery/panaderia and buy one). You know you want one chocolatito caliente (hot chocolate) with it.
You can also enjoy some yummy and super cute looking treats with the Coco theme at the parks. How cute are this ones? Disneyland always gets me with their cake pops and rice crispy treats. I can eat them all day long, Not only they are really tasty but they look adorable.
