I have been trying to lose weight and be healthy for a while now. I was doing great on Keto, but I got into a stall and decided to try something new.
A fellow blogger and health coach offer me to try her program to see if it had results for me, in exchange to sharing my experience with you. Here are the amazing results with the program
Progress not perfection
Most programs are based on scale victories. We tend to fail because we are focusing on the scale, and you learn with time that the scale it is not really an indication of progress. I loved the program with Valerie because she made us strive for progress and non-scale victories and that made us relax and enjoy the journey.
Carb cycling and Intermittent Fasting
The program is different from Keto, although it does have low carb days. But it also have normal carb days, which it was good because we could splurge on those days. Although I learned that I could had my carbs in form of fruits and vegetables and still see the inches drop. Not going to lie, I also had some sweets in special occasions, but I learned to have my carbs as avocados, berries and even apple with peanut butter instead of cake.
Intermittent fasting is when you don't eat anything before noon. Pretty much you eat for 8 hours and fast for 16. It works people, it works.
How can you stay accountable during the program?
I went from size 10 to size 6. Here are the pictures:
