Dumbo World Premiere

A dream come true. ​I was so thrilled when I got pixie dust in my email inviting me to the Dumbo World Premiere , the live action remake of the classic movie, directed by Tim Burton. This was not my first red carpet invite, however it is my first Disney red carpet and I could not believe it.

Thank you Disney for inviting me to the Red Carpet and Screening of the Dumbo movie.

Attending a red carpet premiere is an amazing experience. The planning starts way before the day of the red carpet. Think dress, shoes, make up, hair style. The decision was easy in regards of the dress. For Dumbo I thought right away, I want a grey dress. I found a pretty one and decided to match it with red heels.

The day of the red carpet you have to get ready, it is all so glamorous: Makeup, hair, accessories, fake lashes, pretty much I felt like a princess. 

​We got to the pre-party at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood. To enter the room we needed to go under a big arch that says “Dumbo World Premiere”. It was time for pictures in front of the official red carpet backdrop. We had 90 minutes to enjoy the pre-party and all its activities, including the food. The food was Dumbo themed and included sweets, hot dogs, and even corn on the cob.

​Towards the side of the room, they had the red carpet; the cast of the movie walked the carpet, just behind the original costumes from the movie. The great thing about the party was that the cast of the movie was there, enjoying the party next to us. On a red carpet, you just never know who you may run into, like I got to see up close Angelina Jolie

​There were plenty of photo opportunities and even a fabulous Kleenex stand, because well, we all know Disney movies always make us cry.

​After the party, it was time to see the film! We walked across the street to the iconic El Capitan Theater. You could see the signs with the  “Dumbo World Premiere” outside and made it all even more special.​

We grabbed some popcorn and drinks and headed to our seats in the third row orchestra.  The movie was fabulous. Disney’s done it again! They have created another spectacular and inspirational movie. Dumbo soars into theaters March 29th.
