Disclosure: I received complementary tickets to visit the park, however all opinions expressed are my own Our latest journey was an incredible adventure at Universal Studios Hollywood. The last time we visited was last year for mother’s day and a few things have changed. First, there is a new ride (Despicable Me Minion Mayhem Ride) and second my son is not afraid of roller coasters anymore, so we can ride everything! When we arrived the park and the first thing my son wanted to do was the new ride. We have heard great things since it opened back in April. On the ride you join Gru, his daughters and the mischievous Minions on a very cute and funny 3-D ride. After you pick up your 3-D glasses, you will enter Gru's home and you better watch out because he is trying out his new invention: you will become a Minion. His kids will lead your Minion training adventures and you will experience a very fun trip inside the villain's lab when things do not go as initially planned. As you exit the ride, you get to dance with the Minions. Then you go into the Minion Shop where you can find everything Minion and also have the chance to take a picture with a Minion (You can buy their picture, but you can also take one with your own camera) After the ride you will go out to a replica of the first movie seaside carnival, The Super Silly Fun Land outdoor family play zone with some rides and water splash zone where you WILL get wet. We spend some time playing in the splash zone and then we went to explore the rest of the park. Since we had theFront of the Line passes, we were able to see everything. After the Minion Ride, we went down the stairs to enjoy Transformers the Ride 3-D, Revenge of The Mummy and Jurasic Park. Then we had some lunch at the new restaurant Gru's Lab Cafe full of delicious creations such as meatball sandwich, nachos and even some Minion's sweets. After lunch it was time to go see some shows. We went to Special Effects Stage, WaterWorld, Universal's and Animal Actors. With the Front of the Line passes, you get reserved seating and some after the show experiences as well. We also rode The Simpsons and we went to Shrek 4-D. We left sometime for last, because it is a family favorite: the famous Studio Tour. It was a very fun day and off course before the park closed, we went back to Despicable Me Minion ride, because it was so good we had to ride it one more time. Now we are looking forward to Christmas, when the park has Dr Seuss and snow. We also cannot wait until 2016 when The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be opening! Have you been at Universal Studios, what is your favorite ride? For more information visit Universal Studios Hollywood Website and follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
