Countdown to #MerryFarm and Christmas with a Peanuts Advent Calendar

We are so thrilled to be attending this year's Knott's Merry Farm. It is one of our favorite seasons of the year. We love everything at Knott’s Berry Farm during Merry Farm. We will be counting the days until we can have some yummy eggnog and cookies and have our picture taken with Santa.

What to do at Merry Farm

Here it is a list of our favorites at Merry Farm

• Christmas Time is Here, Charlie Brown. In the Charles M. Schulz Theatre. This whimsical ice skating show will entertain everyone in your family.
• Santa’s Christmas Cabin. Enjoy your picture with Santa and some holiday treats. 
  
• Christmas on Engine 41. Tour the park in style on the holiday decorated train.
  
• Knott’s Christmas Crafts Village. Ghost Town transforms into a shopping wonderland filled with dozens of local artisans selling their unique gifts. 
  
• Snow falls on Ghost Town
  
• Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies. A very funny and entertaining show
  

Peanuts Advent Calendar

To make this year's countdown more fun, we have decided to have fun crafting an Advent Calendar, that we can use as our countdown to Merry Farm and we will be using as well to count the days till Christmas. It is an easy craft that you can make with your kids and will look cute as a holiday decoration.

Materials

• Magnetic tape
• Favor Tin Containers
• Glue
• Peanuts stickers or print outs
• Small candy or small toys
• Scissors
• Magnetic board (we used our refrigerator)

How to assemble

1. Cut the magnetic strips into pieces and attach to the metalic end of the containers
2. Cut the Peanuts print outs and glue them to the clear plastic side of the containers
3. Fill the container with the candy
4. Place the containers on a magnetic surface. We are using the refirgeratior door

Now that we have our advent calendar, let's the count down begin.
