CIRQUE DU SOLEIL´S SEP7IMO DIA – NO DESCANSARÉ AT THE FORUM FROM MAY 3 TO 6, 2018
Cirque du Soleil has announced the dates for Sep7imo Día - No Descansaré, its acrobatic spectacular based on the music and story of the Argentine trio Soda Stereo. Sep7imo Día premiered in March 2017 in Argentina, where it was seen by an estimated 530,000 people and broke all-time box office records.
Cirque du Soleil take their exquisite acts and daring acrobatics to the rock concert. In celebration of the Argentinian rock band Soda Stereo, Cirque du Soleil take their audience from the circus to an all sensory, heart pumping and high octane experience that will have you head banging all night.
SEP7IMO DIA by Cirque du Soleil conjures a world outside of time -- a place where emotions ebb and flow like the tide, pulsing to the rhythm of Latin American rock legend Soda Stereo's beloved songs. A cast of 35 performers takes the audience through a series of visual, acrobatic and artistic tableaux that mix breathtaking physical feats with moments of poetic beauty, all inspired by the classic music of Soda Stereo. Set on a strikingly unconventional stage, SEP7IMO DIA is an ode to the trio's fiercely innovative artistic approach and musical legacy. Soda Stereo is an argentinian rock band that was formed in Buenos Aires in 1982 by Gustavo Cerati (voice and guitar), Hector "Zeta" Bosio (bass) and Charly Alberti (drums). Pioneer of the “rock in spanish” movement in the 80´s, it is considered the most influential and significant band in Latin America, with audience attendance and album selling records throughout it´s career. Soda was known for it´s innovative nature and for risk taking at all times, maintaining massive popularity along the way. They broke up in 1997 and ten years later they reunited for a successful tour with more than one million tickets sold.

I need to go see this. I love their shows normally, it would be interesting seeing them with music in Spanish
